These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Filter mobile application and website at getfilter.ai (the "Service"), operated by Filter AI ("Filter," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal use
Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain ownership of any highlights, notes, and organizational data you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content to provide the Service to you.

Third-party content. The Service displays content from third-party sources (podcasts, YouTube, RSS feeds) that you subscribe to. This content belongs to its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of third-party content and display it under fair use for personal consumption.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, chat responses, and reports. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. You should not rely on AI-generated content as a sole source of truth for important decisions.

6. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we may delete your data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
